In this unconventional introduction to Materia Medica, we will dive in to the Fabaceae Family, aka the Legume or Pea Family. We will introduce key morphological features of this plant Family, some important native or noteworthy invasive members, and medicinal species used.

Some herbs covered include:

Licorice, Astragalus, Butterfly Pea Flower, Alfalfa, Mimosa, Kudzu
